Almost every student from Malton school took part in a four-mile sponsored walk across the fields and tracks of rural Malton earlier this term.
The walk took place on the afternoon of October 12th and luckily the rain showers had stopped after a rainy morning.
The aim of the walk was to raise £5000 for a new canopy in the East Wing of the school where students go to use the tuck shop. It was a very enjoyable event and everyone loved taking part in it.
More details are to follow once all the sponsor money is collected. We already have the plans for the canopy and we are looking forward to this being built.
